We’ve lived in Crane Lakes since 2000, so we’re among the early settlers. We were totally unfamiliar with the manufactured homes and when we first toured the models, we were amazed! At that time, the Clubhouse and golf course were complete which sealed our decision to buy. We intended the house as a winter home and planned to be “snowbirds”. That lasted for 3 years and we moved down from Maryland full-time. We found the life-style, year round golf, and the myriad of activities too hard to leave in the spring. So now, we’re in our second house and driving our third golf cart!
In addition to all the amenities in Crane Lakes, the residents make it very special. It is a group of caring and generous people and we feel privileged to live among them. We look out for one another and everyone steps up when the occasion arises. Crane Lakes is a community in every sense and we’re proud and happy to call it home.
